Four ways a conversation starts

Comment on a post

Someone comments your keyword on a post or reel. You choose whether it applies to any post or just one.

Story reply

They reply to your story with the word and get the material right away, while the story is still up.

Story mention

Someone tags you in their story. The keyword is optional here — the mention is the trigger.

Direct message

The DM arrives with the word and the delivery happens with nobody on the other side.

What happens next

The opening
A message from you, with the commenter's name. It can carry a quick-reply button so they answer in one tap.
Their reply
That is what opens the conversation window. Without a reply, Meta won't let the link through — which is why the opening comes before the reward.
The delivery
The link arrives as a button, not loose in the text. Every click is counted, so you know how many actually opened it.

Deliver only to followers, if you want

Turn on the follow requirement and Fanout checks before delivering. If they don't follow yet, it nudges once — in your words, not a generic line — and waits. How many nudges is up to you.

Several wordings, so it doesn't read like a bot

Every step accepts more than one wording, and Fanout picks at random. Someone who commented on two of your posts won't get the same sentence twice — the detail that gives bad automation away.

What we don't do

We don't DM people who never talked to you

The conversation window only opens after they interact. Mass sending to a cold list doesn't pass through the official API, and we don't go around it.

The window is 24 hours

Meta's rule, not ours. Past that with no new interaction, the conversation closes — and no serious tool gets around it.
